Sixteen
I decided to change my blogger layout, since the misquote of lyrics on my former layout was starting to bother me. I really like this one, but I haven't quite figured out how to add the comments yet. The code works differently than my last one, so I suppose I still have some learning to do. As of today, I am sixteen years old. So far, my day has gone fabulously. Last night (or early this morning, rather) Mom, Dad, Patch, Kelsey, and Dominic sang happy birthday to me at approximately midnight. Patch gave me a killer action figure-ish toy, and my parents gave me a Bratz poster that I've been dying to get for quite some time now. Later on that night I decided to change my blog layout to what it is now, and that made me even happier. I finally went to bed around three in the morning. I woke up around eight o' clock (or so) to ten white roses sitting on my vanity. After reading the card, it was revealed to me that they were from Josh. This made me extraordinarily happy and was just about the best kick-off to the day that I could have hoped for. I was trying to figure out how to hug the roses, but that was just a battle that I knew I wouldn't win, so I smelled them instead. I came out of my room, happy and wearing yesterday's clothes. When I reached the living room, I was greeted by Mom and Wyatt. I cuddled up next to Mom, and my feet were nice and toasty. Wyatt had me pull gifts out of his bag, because apparently wrapping paper is against his religion. ;) The first thing I pulled out was an InuYasha movie. I'm psyched about watching it tonight, and we'll probably watch it at my party, too. <3Inuyasha<3 The second thing I grabbed was a pair of Chuck Taylor All Star Converse shoes... original style. That gift was rather happy. Eventually Wyatt left, and I decided to get in the shower. By the time I'd finished showering, Jimmy had arrived. He wished me happy birthday and gave me a fun Bratz coloring box. He also gave me a watch, which I actually needed. It is a pretty cool watch though. After that, Josh took me to choir. On the way, he gave me a necklace that says 'JHONKA'. It's great. :) Choir was fun, but home seems to be the most comfortable place today. I got back from choir and played some pool. Soon enough, Stephanie showed up with some cole slaw <3 and orange juice. I'd been craving that cole slaw for a long time, haha. Oh, I'd nearly forgotten! Somewhere in there my little brother, Ryan, gave me two small toy soldiers. They're pretty neat. All in all, I suppose you could say that my birthday so far has been ultimate. Thanks everyone. :) Well, if you don't mind, I think I'll go eat some more of that cole slaw. God bless you all.
Farewell for now...
P.S.-- My comments aren't working just yet, so if you have something you'd like to say, write it on the tagboard please. That's the fourth star.
