Bon jour.
First of all, I'd like to make a shout-out for my mom. It's her 34th birthday today. Happy birthday, Mom. You rock! :D
I've spent the last few days cleaning/remodeling my room, and it's almost finished! I have a new bed, and I've rearranged quite a bit. I think I like it better this way. I'll probably have to take an hour out of my schedule today to put my clothes (that are currently dwelling on my floor) into my drawers and to clean out my closet. Other than that, I'm finished. :)
I sprained my neck Tuesday. I was standing up after a chest pain, and the dizziness just got to me. I tumbled onto my floor, rolling over my head and neck. Now I'm stuck wearing this geeky looking (the bad geeky, not the cool geeky) neck brace anytime I'm riding in a vehicle. I suppose this injury isn't too bad, but it can be a pain in the neck from time to time. ;)
My chest pains seem to be happening less frequently. I really hope this is because of my medicine. It would be nice to have a problem that clears up so quickly. I'm praying that the pains will continue to deminish. Oh, and my numb spells are down to about ten minutes a day!
I don't really have a lot to complain about. I'm fairly happy most of the time. The only thing I really dread in my life is sleep. I've been having this nightmare lately that is really getting to me. It's one of the worse, if not the worst, I've had. I haven't shared it with anyone yet, but I'm thinking I probably should. It might make me feel better.
School will be starting soon. I'm not too exstatic about returning to my academic endeavors, but I am looking forward to choir. I'll get to see a lot more of the people I don't see very often. I spent yesterday morning helping our choir teacher sort through music files. We have some magnificent SATB pieces. I really hope we can get a decent tenor section together this year.
Music makes me happy inside. I haven't had a good jam session on my bass in far too long. I should dust it off and tune it tomorrow. There's something about creating such a powerful sound that makes the soul smile. Yes, I'm definitely going to have to get lessons sometime soon.
I hadn't realized how much I actually read until I was going through some of my books yesterday. I'd read most of them two or three times. Out of all the books in my bedroom, there were only three I hadn't read yet. I'm anxious for the day that I can write as well as some of the gifted authors I've come to love.
Sarah and Stanlie are staying the night tonight. They always bring a little extra joy into this house. I like it when they're here. I can't think of anything else to say about them, so this paragraph is short.
In closing,
A Happy Birhthday Song to My Mom:
Today is your birthday
Happy birthday to you
That is why I'll say
You're uber-awesome, it's true!
...Oh yeah. That's a killer awesome tune. ^.^
God bless you all! Ciao.
