A New Song
It turns out my neck isn't fractured, which is great. We do, however, finally know what is wrong with me (other than the obvious, of course, haha). The atlas in my neck has moved six millimeters, which is more than both the radiologist and Dr. Sams have ever seen. They both said that it is a miracle it isn't broken.
I am currently undergoing treatment by Dr. Sams in Branson. Because of all of the vigorous adjudtments on my neck, which has been out for seven months now, I am greatly struggling with nausia and keeping food down. This isn't exactly a pleasant time of my life, but the company is fabulous. Dr. Sams and his family have been so gracious and kind in letting me stay with them and shown me far more than hospitality. Missouri loves company, right? Or perhaps that is misery, haha.
I have not made immense improvement yet, but I am assured that things will get better. I am so glad this isn't as serious as it could have been. Thank God! Though, this is all still rather scary for me, I am holding up well. I have hope for the future. Things could be so much worse, and right now I'm enjoying myself in Branson for the most part.
On a different note (that one being a G and this one being more of an E flat), I wrote a song yesterday. I still don't quite have the melody completely figured out yet, but it's getting there. It is a rock song, and hopefully it will end up Benjamin Gate style by the time I'm finished with it. That will only mean something to those of you priviliged enough to have heard Benjamin Gate. *sighs in remembrance of a formerly awesome group of musicians*
Anyhoo, I should probably go. My apologies for it having been so long since my last blog. I plan to pick up blogging again. God bless you all! Fare thee well... until we meet again.
